  1. SITUATION
    TASK
    ACTION
    RESULT

    .
HE SHOULD HAVE PLACED IT IN THIS ORDER – SHOWING "STAR" FROM SIDEWAYS TOP TO BOTTOM, NOT THE WAY IT SHOWS ON THE BOARD, ALSO HE IS DIFFICULTY IN SPELLING, AND CORRECTLY SPEAKING CLEARLY !!!!!

  2. My problem is coming up with a situation. When I get in the interview and I'm asked the "tell me a time when….", I have a hard time thinking of something. I am also sorry about people on youtube that make negative comments. I'm not sure if they have ever heard the "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" when they were a child. So sad.

  3. That's how I resolve conflict and it has worked for me over the years. Any other technique is useless. Try using the "I will beat the crap out of you" methodology and see fantastic results every time. But, YOU need to be able to back up the talk or it won't work!

  4. What is this guy talking about? STAR??? I didn't learn anything from this video, but to say he is an idiot! In a conflict resolution, the action usually is to kick the crap out of person who started the the conflict. When that happens, respect usually follows because that person doesn't want to get the crap beat out of them again!

  5. Gee, there sure are an awful lot of critics out here in youtube land. I'm sure all of them are well polished presenters. I thought this was a good beginner level presentation. I would suggest that he does another one, perhaps on SOAR statements ( situation, obstacle, action, result). We improve by doing. Videos are a lot like writing, do a couple of drafts before the final product. Good Luck!

  6. After watching a few videos of this guy, I seriously think he lacks proper wording, not to guess his education, in relating what he wants to say. It is beyond sad to be a consultant, and talk in coded language. I mean could not he have said, when faced with an imaginary situation, what would the best approach be toward resolving it. and then Star, moon, whatever acronym he wants to use to make a point. It is as if though he thinks everybody is retarded not to be able to handle the question.

  7. um… duh? So your advice was… to go over the Conflict-resolving question in your head… I am SUPER glad that I got to see this video… boosts my confidence levels to an all new high!
